The hotel is located in Westbourne Terrace, on the north side of Hyde Park. Once, described as the 'finest street in London' this is one of the city's smartest Regency avenues. Lancaster Gate underground station (Central line) and Paddington mainline and underground station (Circle, District, and Hammersmith and City lines) are within a five-minute walk of the hotel.

All of the bedrooms, which vary in shape and size are beautifully furnished and decorated in an traditional English style, with some modern touches such as 'in wall' flat screen televisions and broadband access. All the bedrooms are individually designed and feature genuine antique writing tables. Some rooms also benefit from French windows and balconies. All of the bathrooms are well equipped and feature beautifully crafted limestone wash basins, monogram bath robes, slippers and feature mirrors. Rooms feature a 19th century mahogany writing table with a tooled leather top, a Georgian chest of drawers, and a Georgian tilt topped table used for breakfast. Standard double rooms vary in colour and also in size, averaging around 215 sq ft. Rooms have Beaudesert beds, and beautiful benison fabrics and handmade English brass lamps complete the opulent feel. Each room has telecommunication sockets, providing business guests with access to two direct dial telephone lines, a modem connection, voicemail and fast broadband Internet access. Rooms also feature flat screen Sharp LCD TVs.
